Located in southern Butler County, Cranberry Township is the fastest growing suburb of the Pittsburgh Metro area. Cranberry Township was founded in 1804 and has an area of 22.8 square miles.
At the time the 2010 Census was conducted, Cranberry Township had a population of 28,098, with that number projected to almost double in the next 20 years. Much of the growth has stemmed from its perfect location. Ideally situated near I-79, I-76 and the PA Turnpike, Route 19, and Route 228 these roads make up the Cranberry Connector which was opened in 2004. It is an incredibly easy commute to downtown Pittsburgh, and many surrounding areas.
The business climate of Cranberry Township is quite hot, as it is home to large operations such as Verizon Wireless, Alcoa, and McKesson. In addition to those major companies, also driving the industrial climate in Cranberry Township is the Westinghouse Electric Company headquarters which was opened in 2007.
There are a number of business parks within Cranberry Township including Thorn Hill, Cranberry Woods, and Cranberry Park. Cranberry Township truly a hub for technology, logistics, customer service, retail business, and much, much more!

The Goddard School is a private school for early childhood development for Toddlers to Kindergarten.
St. Kilians Parish School, a new private Catholic elementary school that was opened in 2008 ranges from Preschool to 7th grade.
Cardinal Wuerl is a new private Catholic high school that opened in the fall of 2014.
There are several parks, recreational facilities, and programs for the residents of Cranberry Township to partake in!
