Located in Allegheny County, Hampton Township is just 25 minutes north of downtown Pittsburgh. At the time of the 2010 Census, the population of Hampton Township was just a little over 18,000 residents.
Hampton Township is made up of several different communities including Allison Park, Gibsonia, Elfinwild, and Wildwood just to name a few. The township shares borders with Pine Township, Shaler Township, and McCandless Township. Route 8 and Route 910 are two of the major roads in the Hampton Township area.
