Situated in peaceful Washington County, Nottingham Township is a rural community with a population of a little over 3,000.  Nottingham Township was formed in 1781, and is one of the original 13 townships that were formed in Washington County.  The township borders North Strabane, Venetia, Finleyville, and Carroll Township.

Mingo Creek County Park is located within Nottingham Township, and is 2,500 acres of peaceful enjoyment!  The park has walking trails, biking trails, horseback trails, camping, the Historic Henry House, along with playgrounds for the kids.
